About Me

Sometimes it takes hitting rock bottom to get to the point where you can turn things around, and I’ve done so a couple of times.

I am a 30-ish-year-old, who loves writing and is trying to make sense of the things that happen in my life and the world around me. I want to tear my world apart with words…

Things in my life changed drastically the day I was in car accident that left me with severe chronic pain and a head injury. I am trying to change my life and not let these things define me. So, I’ve decided to try something that I haven’t to date: talk openly and honestly about my life and try to process everything that’s happened.

This blog is a challenge to force myself outside of my comfort zone, so I can grow as a person. Come along for the ride…

  1. Thanks for tripping into my blog. I find your story fascinating. I like that idea of tearing the world apart with words. I find that words are almost always likely to tear something or someone apart. In my life, I’m usually the one being ripped to shreds from the inside out. You can set them free, but they just reproduce and wreak havoc again.
    Blessings, dear sis

  3. Hi, Maggie… I’m glad I happened upon your blog today… I also live with severe chronic pain and know how confusing, debilitating, and maddening it can be… and even though everyone’s situation is unique, it still helps to know there are others out there dealing with some of the same challenges…

It sounds like you’ve set some good goals for yourself… good luck as you work toward reaching them… I look forward to reading more of your posts! Please stop by my blog — Enduring Pain With Patience | enduringpainwithpatience.wordpress.com/ — when you have a chance…

    Peace,

    Dave
